Tarawangsa is a form of music particular to Sunda that is performed for special occasions -considered sacred by many and deeply moving to all.
Starting with opening prayers song to the gentle sound of the cilempung , the tarawangsa music - carrying the spirit of abundance personified in the Goddess Dewi Sri Pohaci, invites us to enter a deep meditation. We are then moved by the soothing rhythm to express ourselves in dance.
